Bethesda released the fourth countdown trailer for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. It shows a castle and some woods, and it just looks fantastic.

good stuff! had some niggles about the framrate at the end and some of the filtering, but man i cant wait to explore all that stuff!

Wow I was playing duckhunt for the nes just this morning and the graphics are absolutely the same what the hell.

The extremely good thing about this is with the 360 doing all of this (and lets face it most games wont go this far then we have ALOT to look forward to and i'm positive that the way in which things were done in this game can be done by much better means later on to more take advantage of the 360 so its all good)

As long as the developer does his job we are in for some MAJORLY impressive games.

I see what everyone has a problem with, the 2d grass, some not so high res textures, but look out at the mountains and as far as you can see, thats the next generation for you. Besides, when it comes out I shall whack every guy in that castle and run around laughing and humming the spider man theme song. It doesn't get much better than that. So there.

Looks really nice, the draw distance is amazing, but what's with the framerate, was that running on the Xbox 360. I dont know where to play it, my PC can run it smoother with better graphics, but i also really want to play it on the 360 because of the achievements, damn.

This waiting is driving me crazy. The new vids look very nice. It's odd how you can hear the foot steps but can't see the HUD.

its not turning and it's not even 2D.

The term is billboarding for the 2d images that are always facing you. It could be used like, "The most recent Oblivian trailer shows no sign of billboarding."
