Err, sorry man. But when I sent in my 360 for repair, they just sent me another box. Refurbished. They told me it'd just be repaired and my hdd would be back. They lost my HDD and I never got my saves. Just a new premium machine. Now I know if I ever have to send it in again, not to send in the HDD.

On topic, that cave looks cool. It'd probably fit my character perfectly (vampire). And I'll have to checkout those spells too since I'm the weakest battlemage in existence :-\.

Looks good. I'm really happy they are embracing micro-content... I hope we see this in other games more and more in addition to expansions.

a lot of people dont realize small addons like this are completley free for PC users. Yet for some fucked up reason 360 users have to pay for it, ALONG with paying for the LIVE service itself. Ill pass.

I'm sorry, but if you are going to rant about useless shit like that, atleast get your facts straight. They have to pay too, dumbass.

Edit: Player-created mods don't count.

you're wrong, bethesda charges pc users for these downloads, and it's illegal for anyone to make this stuff available for free or use it in their mods.

Besides the new items, spells and quest, this won't help you at all. It's just for buying if you are obsessed with the game... which I am.

At least the points are going somewhere. These downloads are like patches. And I like them. They sure are taking advantage of the Marketplace. All they need to do is make a new town or something with more quest. Or maybe they can make a new guild.

Off topic:

Yeah guys, i send out the HDD as well.. :( maybe i should have not done that, but they insisted i did, or they may not find the problem...

I wanted to stick a note in there saying "please, if you can, try and keep my HDD intact with the savegames on it, thanks"... but the UPS guy was there so quick this morning, and i still needed to pack it, so to let him wait that long was allready hard.. i could not convince myself to tell him to hold on a bit longer, so i can look for a pen.. (i always lose those damn pens!)

Sorry for the off topic...

wow. I didnt know, so I guess they're screwing PC users now as well! But this is the first time I've ever seen small mods like this for a PC game being charged for, I think they're doing this now just so 360 users wont feel cheated. I still dont think its right tho, they should stick to tradition and release addons that contain large amounts of content, like Bloodmoon for Morrowind added an extra region and werewolves and other stuff...

I love the game and all but if they are going to give us DLC why not give us what we really want*extremely slight spoilers* Kvatch. Oh i want to go there so badly. The wizards tower even has a portal to Kvatchs mages guild but it says it doesnt work. But that portal being on that DLC means Kvatch may soon be real:).

So... developers shouldn't charge for their extra efforts to expand your gaming experience? 1-3 bucks isn't anything... and you are getting a whole lot more than that. The fact is there has never been small updates like this for any game untill now. They were mostly compiled into expansion packs that costed well over $20 for mabye 7 new maps at the most... and they always tended to suck ass. These small little mods that bethesda is releaseing are awesome... if you are a mage, download the Orrey and such, or if your a theif get this new mod that adds the piratey cave, yar!

Hear! Hear! I'd infinitely rather spend a few bucks here and there for fresh content on a game rather than just wait 6 months plus for a full expansion, by which time I'd likely be dead bored with the game anyway.

Well.. just think about it this way... the tower (wizards tower) is allready in the game, is it not?
I have not seen it yet, but i think the problem most gamers have with these payed for DLC, is the fact that developers will exclude things from the game, and when you pay money, it will unlock for you...

I mean, this game sold millions allready, it's only 2 bucks or 5 bucks for some downloads yes, and then those 5 bucks times the amount of gamers who bought the game and are willing to pay to unlock stuff, is millions again...

can't blame em for wanting the money, but excluding caves, items, places so we can unlock them for money, is just a bit funky in my opinion...
