Bethesda just released the fifth countdown trailer for Oblivion, presenting some dialog from the game. Impressive faces, seems like they've done alot of work since E3. I put up two versions, as the original file was really really dark - the original file, and a must brighter version gamma/brightness-wise. With the second one, you'll be able to see graphical details much easier.

The reencoding resultated in a much lighter video, gamma/brightness wise. I was going to remove it, but then I thought it just was better to have it there. The original video was really, really dark - now can you at least see the faces.

Hmmmm... After seeing video's of this and more and more screen shots, its starting to loose its hype with me... the textures just arent looking as great as first sighted.. im starting to think it might look alot better or those screens we all gandered at before were from a high end pc verison.... just my 2cents

I think that besides the first woman seen in the video, the faces and textures look quite good. I mean, they don't look especially real, but they have kind of a fantasy quality to them which fits the game well. For me, these countdown videos have only served to increase my anticipation of the game.

Since the Xbox360 version looks just as good, if not better than on a high end pc, that wouldn't matter. Apart from that, you can look on the elderscrolls website to see the confirmed Xbox360 screenshots.

Nope, these countdown videos are a mix of PC and 360 versions so what you are looking at is how the game will run on both systems.

Well thats good then, i just looked at another countdown video witch made me change my mind again, but this video makes me sad :( maybe the not so bright verison will look better, but so far :(

The facial animation is excellent on the humans, non-humans look a little weird but I guess that's because they are non-human! :P

Oh well i'll be enjoying the game forget what the idiots think :)

First ghost recon sucked graphically now this game apparently isn't up to people's standards. This game will look MUCH better on the 360 than it does in any video or screenshot. bah oh well just don't buy it if you think the graphics suck :D

The "exposed" version sucks. It shows the terrible texture work. Not meant to be played like that so I guess there's no problem. The graphics downgrade for this game have been a dissapointment, that I have to say.
