Reminds me of BF:BC... only not as good.

It's getting hard to see the difference between all these shooters. Same settings, same gameplay. if you put 'm all besides eachother without the hud, I bet most gamers can't tell what's what.

This game doesnt have any multiplayer at all, co-op is what you get.
Unacceptable IMO for todays shooters, especially in a FPS military, not as many people will get it.

Squad AI ruined the last one. It's not gonna be easy to sell me on another.

Why did they even bother getting out of bed?

I would like to see a game that accurately depicts being shot, not this "press A to patch wounds" bullshit. that way, you'd consider your options far more carefully.

Wasn't Full Spectrum Warrior a bit more like that? A current-gen version of that would be cool.

Apparently, you and I are the only ones who really want that kind of game anymore, since no developer (even the one with the OP:FP license) are willing to make that kind of game.

I remember reading a preview about this game where the writer was gushing about the "realism", and how gut wrenching and emotional and realistic it is to see your squad mates die and have to push on without them. When I asked him what happened when they die, he stated that they simply respawn at either the next checkpoint, or the next mission. Wow, now THAT is realism!

All I want is a game like the old school Ghost Recon or Op Flashpoint. Imagine picking your squad, hearing their banter, learning about their lives, and watching their skills increase as you fight together. Then seeing them take a bullet and know that they are gone for good. Knowing that you must continue the mission alone, and start the next mission with a green recruit with limited skills. Now THAT would actually make me think twice about sending my guys into a suicide mission.

Is everyone seriously so obsessed with the lame COD style shooter right now, that every developer has to make one? There isn't a single shooter coming out this year that I am remotely interested in. Crysis 2 was ok for a quick rental, but that is about it for the year. Maybe Deus Ex: HR, if they don't screw up that license like Codies has done with Flashpoint...

About the game

What's up?

MikeManiac61 @KORNdog: Only reason why I had PS4 is the variety of exclusives. Besides Halo or Gears, those aren't enough for me to get a Xbone. (6 Hours ago)

droezelke @Ian_Nottingham: My advice: try one first. I did before I was thinking of buying it. Didn't buy it because I get simulation sickness with every game I tried. (7 Hours ago)

GriftGFX Seems likely? First year it's been out in the wild.. first chance for them to give it a big go. I hope so too. (7 Hours ago)

Ian_Nottingham @GriftGFX: I really hope we see something amazing at E3 with VR.I need a reason to purchase one since i haven't been able to try one out at a store anywhere. (7 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I think it'd be pretty surprising/amazing if PSVR actually lasted several years and developed a large library, personally. (7 Hours ago)
