Our 360 videos of CoD Black Ops 2

As Driftwood told you, December will be a quiet month so we've decided to give you some extra gameplay footage of the games we haven't been able to cover. You will tell me that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 had its share of videos and that's right, but when the game was released we could only show you the PC version. Therefore, here is four videos of the 360 version, for those of you who haven't made up their made on this new episode yet. With a single player campaign in which the choices you make can influence the ending, Treyarch tried to bring a bit of fresh air to the series. For the first time, a Cal of Duty game features a solo campaign with real replay value. Now of course, it may not be enough to convince you, so please let us know what you thought of this year's installment.

Best COD in years, Played it for 2 weeks solid before getting bored which is a hell of alot more than MW2 and Blops.

Campaign wise i couldn't even bring myself to finish it. Which is a first. Zombies is OK, not keen on the new structure of tranzit though. MP i couldn't care less about. It is as all COD's have been since 4...they've just got progressively worse/cookie cutter, and that seems to have peaked in blops 2. Doubt i'll even bother trying the next one (which apparently is yet ANOTHER MW title...urgh.)

Right now i'd suck bobby kotick off for a good WW2 shooter. Cos fuck me is beigeville M16 holographic sight, modern warfare boring as hell.

Surly there's 100's to choose from there has got to be much more WW2 games than Modern Warfare games? Why do you need even more?

Because there hasnt been a new one in years....we get a new MW themed game every 5 seconds. I could do with a change.

I am glad I didnt get this game, and i usually get them, but this time I didnt get COD game, i feel proud of myself lol.

A good game is a good game, You badly want a WW2 shooter....COD 2 is the best one this gen.

I don't really get the complaint. World at War is pretty damn similar to Black Ops is pretty similar to Modern Warfare. It's a different skin.

Just like every game in this or that setting isn't the same game.

Just like every game in this or that setting isn't the same game.
Don't agree, the guns alone make them feel infinitely different, you couldn't spray and pray since most of the weapons where single shot, bolt action rifles, and if they wasn't you'd get 5 shots before having to reload. combat felt slower, more considered, because accuracy actually matters. Cover usually plays a much bigger role too since you had mini stalemates where you where taking pot shots then hiding to reload. I dunno, i just wouldn't mind a new one, not necessarily a COD either. Just something to break up the tedium of M16 holographic sights and the colour beige lol.

Sure, except not. There are tons of automatic weapons in WWII COD games. The STG-44 is basically a modern assault rifle. And then you have shit like the Thompson and PPSh. Likewise, in modern COD, the M14 is very reminiscent of the M4 Carbine. Even if the gun gameplay weren't similar (and it is), every other system would remain the same.

Another WWII Call of Duty game is just going to be another Call of Duty game.

Riiiight. World War 2 was more colorful. BF3 is more colorful than any WWII game I've played.

Sure, except not. There are tons of automatic weapons in WWII COD games. The STG-44 is basically a modern assault rifle.
And they're rarely used in the timespan of a typical WW2 campaign. Not to mention the lack of attatchments and mods, you rely on ironsights, something you just don't do in modern day shooters its all about acog, red dot, holographic.... They felt different. And i'd love a new one.

I played the campaign which is alright I guess. Played some of the multiplayer and I guess me and this franchise is simply over as far as multiplayer goes and im never coming back until maybe next gen maybe to see if anything changes for the better(not holding out hope). And is it just me or does is seems like the campaign on veteran is getting easier and easier every time out now?

Well that's it. I'm going to install COD2 this week and get my fill from it because I'm tired of all this modern warfare shit. I'm so damn bored of it. There are no recent high profile WW2 shooters. Imagine how cool it would be to have a WW2 shooter using the Frostbite engine and some creative, talented artists. Wow, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat. Imagine how much more amazing it would be if they could capture the essence of MOH:AA again, in a modern way of course. That would be game of the year for me easy
