F1 2013 was released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC last week and as usual, we captured a bunch of gameplay 1080p/60fps videos of the PC version of the game. The classic mode is the main new feature this year, which is why most of the footage we're shwing is focused on this mode. That being said, we've also added a video of the scenario mode.
The driving sensations with a racing wheel is really good again, especially with "Classic" vehicles with which we must adopt a different driving style compared to modern ones that are a little more permissive. Indeed, the cars of the eighties require more caution while accelerating and braking, otherwise you quickly head-to-tail or shoot straight blocking the wheels.
The videos were captured without any driving assists, manual transmission, with a Logitech G27. The AI was set to the fourth out of five difficulty levels.
After just viewing the trailer, yeah, I see what Melmoth was on about. Stick a pair of red dungarees and a cap on her, and a mustache. (2 Hours ago)
Irony is they are basing the film off of a reboot where you don't actually raid many tombs. The female rambo shooty shooty run and jump shit translates well, though. (2 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: Well, that's practically what Lara is now from the recent games. Anyway, most common traits of reboots in Hollywood boils down everything you knew about the original into a simplified trope (2 Hours ago)
i just think it's an awful idea to base a movie on a game that had a terrible story, a terrible script and characters devoid of personality...including the protagonist. why would someone do that. lol (3 Hours ago)
but at least she isn't doing that super exaggerated breathy "acting" luddington does in the games (3 Hours ago)
the woman just looks so wooden as well. which is probably why she did well playing a robot in ex machina lol. (3 Hours ago)
