We were sent a review code for Rain World about 2 weeks ago but we could never find the time to tell you a bit about it. Until today that is. Sadly, Videocult's game has failed to convince us, due to frustrating design choices and imprecise controls that often lead you to your death. Eveytime you die, you must go back to the previous checkpoint, a hiding place where you were able to hibernate. Since finding those spots can be tricky, you're more or less bound to fail many times before being able to save your progress again. Some might find it challenging, but as for us, we just stopped playing after a while, which is a real shame as the game world and the animations look very nice. Be warned then.

so why does it matter if they make the next one or not? it's like people being excited about rare making a new perfect dark when the people who made perfect dark 1 on the N64 are long gone. (21 minutes ago)
and the mention of brands being popular is ironic seeing as that's all dev studio's are. valve today is nothing like valve when half life was being made. they've lost all of their key staff. (22 minutes ago)
tbh as long as good developers are making good games i don't care what franchise people want to attach to them. hell, most devs would probably do a better job at half life than valve at this point. (24 minutes ago)
and as for outsourceing half life, wasn't that what valve were going to do anyway. wasn't episode 4 (what happened to 3?) being developed by arkane? (25 minutes ago)
@nostradamus: you actually have a point for a change. half life would actually need decent characters for naughty dog to be able to do anything with it. it may as well be a reboot. (31 minutes ago)
naughty "we make movies"dog taking a mute protagonist fps. sure, jan. (4 Hours ago)
