Our PC videos of WRC 5

Our PC videos of WRC 5

You'll have to wait until tonight 10:00 GMT+2 to find out what we think of WRC 5, but until then you can get a pretty good idea of what to expect from the game by watching our (many) videos of the PC version. We had to play with a gamepad because apparently our wheel isn't supported (that's a first!) but sadly there was nothing we could do. The stages we picked for the videos were often very short so you could see more different countries, but there are much longer ones (up to 9 km or so).
Note: This review code was given to us by our good friends at DLgamer.

If what I hear is correct this game had to be made with a very small development team with limited resources and very limited time, partly due to Rally Sport being unpopular in many countries including the US, its also being released on last gen consoles considering this it looks very good.

Are the CMR/Dirt rally games made with a smiliar low budget?

Well I'm really wondering about the positioning of this series. It has the WRC license, maybe that's where all the money went. Or it is a question of efficiency, and the Codemasters team can do more with the same money? Or Codemasters have indeed more money, because their games are better and, therefore, sell better? I can only judge the WRC games by reviews as I have never played them, but they seem consistently mediocre, in the 60-70% range on metacritic, for example.
I can only shrug and walk away, knowing that I'm not interested in a mediocre game with a licence, while there are better games which don't have the WRC name.

KORNdog but at least she isn't doing that super exaggerated breathy "acting" luddington does in the games (0 minute ago)

KORNdog the woman just looks so wooden as well. which is probably why she did well playing a robot in ex machina lol. (2 minutes ago)

Melmoth the trailer gave the impression that every big action sequence will culminate in her doing an inhumanly long jump (9 minutes ago)

KORNdog @alimokrane: yeah but you liked the POS story and characters in the reboot, so it's not really surprising that you like it. lol (10 minutes ago)

alimokrane Haters will always hate... I think Alicia Vikander is perfect as Lara Croft. Hoping for the best for the movie. The trailer looks decent. (34 minutes ago)
