After yesterday's coverage on Switch, it is now time to see what the PS4 (Pro) version of Cars 3: Driven to Win is capable of. Unsurprisingly, the game looks a bit better on Sony's console, with crisper graphics and a smoother framerate which tries to reach 60 frames per second as often as possible. Sadly, there are still slowdowns here and there, which is hard to forgive when you consider the lack of details of the different environments and the poor texture filtering. Other than the visuals and animation, the game is exactly the same as on Nintendo's latest console, with solid content and a challenging difficulty in medium and hard modes.
@Seth: that's a shame. I think it was a victim of its own hype. Was like the only good thing shown back when xbone was announced and then took forever to release. (8 Hours ago)
@jmd749: sure, didn't even knew that wthy were going to do a vr version. fuck that shit, do borderlands 3 already, magic randy! you filthy liar. (17 Hours ago)
Also it doesn't help the fact how zoomed out is the camera. You barely see shit most of the time. Deleted it after 4 hours. -_- (21 Hours ago)
@Nietzsche: Below is the most monotonous game i have played in last years. The game want to be DS and survival game at the same time and fails at both of these things. (21 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: It's good free marketting for the game though. (1 Day ago)
Basically, it was a hatchet job of a review, awarding it a 3/10. They realised they fucked up and pulled it sharpish. Damage was done, though. (1 Day ago)
of course, he was talking bollocks. Had he played it for more than 5 minutes, or spent more than 2 looking in the options for the settings, he could have sorted everything out, but he's clearly inept (1 Day ago)
