Our PS4 videos of PES 2016

Our PS4 videos of PES 2016

As expected, there isn't much to see at TGS, so we can focus on what's happening this week in terms of new releases. PES 2016 is now available on current and old gen consoles (on PC too but word on the street is you should stay away from this version), so here are no less than 8 gameplay videos we captured on PS4. All in all, it's a very pleasant game to play, but we hope some problems will be fixed in an upcoming update, like the apparent blindness of the referee for example.

"apparent blindness of the referee"... so it's just like the real thing then.

The PC version is only lacking a couple of things on the visual side as far as I can tell. For the most part, the core gameplay is the same, and yes, I've played both versions, PC, Xbox360 and PS4 demos. PC version is lacking certain shaders and post effects, but the assets are identical. A modded PC version and there will be little difference. In fact, the gameplay view will look better on PC due to the pitch and stadium textures getting a drastic overhaul.

Jut the PS4 version, then? Even though the X1 version is identical and as for the other versions, see above. What makes the PS4 version so special?

Yeah, but what does a minor bump in resolution have to do with the gameplay, which there are zero differences?

nostradamus @Megido: retarded... too much crazy anime, vs. stylish in MGS. The bosses on MGS4 were retarded, minus ocelot. he was awesome. (1 Hour ago)

Megido The problem with MGS 2 is that you hate all the characters, and the villains are retarded. Then you beat the game in 2 hours if you skip all the codec speak. (3 Hours ago)

nostradamus lukeward destination visually and there isn't much sandbox to the level the tanker level had. still great, freakin 60fps and probably some of the best visuals, effects in any game to that date. (4 Hours ago)

nostradamus the problem i had with mgs2 was that the tabker level was in itself a freaking great sandbox demo and one would imagen where on manhattan the full fledge game would take us. then the big shell is a (4 Hours ago)

nostradamus @Megido: errr... no. it has long cutscenes, yes, but there is a lot of meat to the game compared to say, MGS:TEA where you beat the game in less than 10 hours and there still is a lot of cutscenes. (4 Hours ago)
