First 10 minutes PC Xbox 360 PS3

Get ready for some impressive-looking game, Crysis 3 has arrived and it kicks ass visually speaking, even on consoles. Today, we have prepared a bunch of videos of the 360 version of the game, along with a few screenshots of the PC version - which should make your PC cry if it's anything like mine and its "poor" GTX 670. Stay tuned for our PC videos, as they might be your only way to see the game completely maxed out at 60 fps.

Are those really 360 campaign faces, fo real?

If so... really impressed. i've been playing killzone 3 latelly, and the faces, out of pre-rendered video scenes, are really bad in real-time. typical console quality.

here the resolution bluries most of the detail, but it still seems really close to the impressive Cryisis 3 pc on ultra settings.

At max I get 30fps and framerate drops. Even medium settings won't allow the game to run at a steady 60 fps framerate.

We dont know that now do we.
But based on the footage it seems to be a mix of C1 (big levels) with C2 gameplay. I always had an issue with the linearity with C2 which made it boring, so i dont know how this one will play out.

Yeah I can't stand C2, and I haven't seen much to indicate that this is really any better. I'll wait for in depth impressions/user reviews.

It's beautiful though. Shame about the performance hit, but they clearly are still pushing things forward.

I thought C2 was decent, not anything like Warhead or even Crysis 1...not enough freedom to move around. The pictures, the Pc walkthrough indicates the levels for C3 is much bigger and has more room to approach from different angle, but i am still hesitating on thats the case.

Visually its the best out there (pc).

gamespot just gave it 7.5...

crysis 2 got 8.5 from them for comparison which i thought was pretty awful. i was hoping they'd finally be able to wrap a good game around the awesome visuals...third times the charm and all that. guess not. seems to be a bit of a downward spiral.

...and a 7 from eurogamer.

on the plus side, a game i was pretty much ready to write off (MGrising) is kicking ass across the board.

Yeeeea.. that's not inspiring a lot of confidence. Then again, they all reviewed C2 pretty highly, so maybe it's awesome! ;)

Those having problems with framerates, how did the mp beta run for you?

As for the graphics, they don't really impress that much anymore.

BF3 impressed me more tbh.

I think it's more cryteks art doesn't do it for me.

No, but that doesn't say something, since Aliens CM is at the bottom. :)
The bow is crazy overpowered as well and make the game even more easier.

btw I really want to see other games using this engine. :/

I still had fun with C2 for what it was (not as fun as first one, by far), just quick and stealthy with some stylish manuever during kills, i only played on Normal too lol
I guess whatever makes you have fun and entertained and makes you go back to it, its all good.

Yes the bow is overpowered, but i will still use it like a damn hunter!

Warface and Sniper 2 is using this engine.

Yeah pick this series only stands on its graphical quality alone, everything about the gameplay feels very generic. Its that game where you launch it on you beefed out rig and just marvel at how it looks... then play for 15 minutes and stop ;)
