Dead Space 3 has arrived, after months of waiting, we are finally going to find out if Visceral stayed true to the franchise. After playing the first 5 hours of the game in hard mode - and completing the first 7 chapters -, we can say that the game is a lot more faithful to the first episode than we thought it would be. Some will paradoxically bitch about the feeling of deja vu, but at least you'll get your share of dark corridors and low gravity sequences - something many feared would not make it to the final game after months of snowy media. Only when reaching chapter 8 will you discover Tau Volantis for a welcome change of scenery, or so it seemed since it's exactly when we stopped playing. Take a look at our 360 videos and find out if there is something for you in this third installment of the franchise.
@Sath: do you have little tiny babby hands? I think the x1 controller is quite comfortable to hold. Better than the 360 pad imo. (11 minutes ago)
Kinect is all but dead in its current form. MS has been pretty quiet on VR, be interesting to see if they incorporate something that uses kinect (28 minutes ago)
I'd be surprised if halo didn't use them in some way. I wonder if halo will use kinect too...i remember they were pushing around the idea of tapping your temple to get heat vision or something (31 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: Not sure...only racing games I think...but everybody says it adds alot to it. I think project cars is the next to use them (35 minutes ago)
once you get used to the location of the bumpers it's pretty good. The triggers are the best change, it totally changed the feedback in a car game like Forza. (49 minutes ago)
Silent hills in its current form is officially cancelled :( (1 Hour ago)
@bleachedsmiles: curious, but how many games use those? (1 Hour ago)
