Since Everspace is now available on Early Access, we figured it was as good a time as any to give the game a try and prepare a few videos for you guys. Our first impression is pretty good, though we can't say we are particularly fond of rogue-like titles usually. Running on Unreal Engine 4, this game is actually a lot of fun once you get a hang of the controls. WHen playing with a gamepad, it takes a bit of getting used to as strafing up/down/right/left is done with the left analog stick while pitching and rolling are mapped to the right one. If you play with a mouse and keyboard, you'll have the advantage to be able to move the aiming reticle around, which is obviously very convenient. The following videos were captured with a gamepad.
