Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- has been available on PS4 for a little while but we've only recently found a bit of time to capture some direct feed footage of this new installment in the series. Contrary to the previous games in the franchise, Xrd -SIGN- was actually made in 3D using Unreal Engine but the developers did quite an amazing job and managed to imitate the 2D animations and graphics from the past episodes. Not everyone will like the redesign of the characters, but the game nonetheless looks pretty impressive. Check our four videos and don't mind our poor skills as we really couldn't do any better than this considering the time we had to practice.
@GriftGFX: trends. 2D fighters was all the rage, then 3D fighters took over, now it switched back to 2D fighters. It'll switch again. (28 minutes ago)
There are too few 3D fighters anymore but I guess the genre shifted hard to 2D a while ago. (41 minutes ago)

I recently played the original quake in VR, and it almost reminded me and felt like the first time I played that game back in 1996. It brings the tension back to it, and its just really fun. (6 Hours ago)
