We were offered to make videos of the "early access" version of Insurgency on Steam, a standalone made from a Half Life 2 mod of the same name, so our friend Salocin was pleased to do it.
What Salocin thinks about the game
The game is meant to have a realistic gameplay and recalls the old Battlefields in simulation mode.
There is a choice of different classes in each map, there are four squads and a few classes to choose from in every squad. Most of the time assault classes are quickly chosen by the players, or sniper classes on open maps.
The available maps are remakes of those found in the mod but some are new, they offer different types of environments (snow, sand, city, night).
@Sdarts: You're right.. in "relative" terms Quantum Break has terrible performance. (41 minutes ago)
@Tinks: I play a variety of FPS so those kinds of differences are pretty normal to me. And "all the time"? As much as you play OW because you put some insane hours into that :P (42 minutes ago)
@Megido: Absolutelly agreed on! But Suikoden 2 is on the same league as Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy 6, they are some of the best games ever made. (1 Hour ago)
@Sdarts: 5 was better, but not on par with 2. (1 Hour ago)
Same for other games as well. Even a GTX 980 has problems with many modern games. And on smaller cases, even GTX 980 Ti as well. I'm sure a GTX 1070 can handle it - with upscaling turned on. (1 Hour ago)
@droezelke: It's relative, because the GTX 970 isn't what it used to be and is over 2 years old. Not even Rise of the Tomb Raider sustains 1080p@60fps at Ultra settings with a GTX 970. (1 Hour ago)
@Sdarts: still bad performance (1 Hour ago)
