As you all know, Europe has been going through quite a turmoil for a few months. To show you how bad the situation is, we even get games later than North America and Japan, just like in the days of yore. That's why we can only propose our videos of the Metal Gear HD Collection now, as it won't be released here until February 2. Hopefully, the following 12 (!) 60 fps videos will help you forgive us for being so late. More Konami goodies to come before the end of January as we will propose some gameplay footage from the final build of NeverDead on January 31. Stay tuned!

inb4 this looks like crap, my computer can emulate it at 1080p 60fps and it doesn´t have nude mods

I see. Would it take much time to change brightness after you record specific video? Or is it possible to set higher brightness on your recording equipment before you record? Just asking. I saw some videos of this game on youtube and they were quite ok.

Widescreen 60fps MGS3 looks like a whole new game... This might be the first HD port I buy

Well, yes it's always possible to do so but then it would also not correspond to the real thing. I figured you would be able to see what the games really look like on your TV with your usual settings.

Well, on PS3, you can still get MGS1 for a cheap price on PSN. The Problem is that Xbox 360 owners can't and that's a shame.

For sure I won't be buying this, maybe if they dropped the price to £15-20, and the other major let-down is the no MGS1 being included...

Doesnt it look awful though? On my 55" even PS2 games look really bad.

Doesn't your TV have presets? I know on a Bravia you can just set it to Cinema mode and PS1 games look just like they did back in the 90s

Thats because you are using technology that did not exist on last gen hardware.

nope it existed i had one ..
its just that previous generation of games always look shit compared to later games on current generation, they looked exactly the same back then as they do now, nothing has changed.

as for ps1 games though, you should have a tube tv round the house for such times, i will always have a tube tv for my ps2/dreamcast/n64/ps1/saturn/snes/megadrive/nes/master system
xbox 1 exclusive games always looked shit hot in 480p 720p and for 2 occasions? 1080p (enter the matrix i think was one) soul caliber 2 was incredible in 720p.

OK, point taken. It is shame there is no brightness adjustment in the game. It is quite standard thing.

What is Bluepoint Games supposed to do? Create their own textures in place of the original ones? I don't think so. Can somebody confirm to me how the controls work on 360. The game is out like 3 months in the US and there isn't one mention of that in reviews. I have it for PS3 since it came out then but I don't understand on 360 how you put the gun away from aiming without firing a shot because the buttons aren't pressure sensitive on 360.

I think you need to press B, which is barely possible whilst aiming. It's doable but not easy I can tell you. Now maybe there is some other way.

Sath As much as i am not a fan of Halo gameplay but love the Halo CGI, i had no idea Halo 4 Spartan Ops had long CGI cinematics well done at that, definitely gonna watch them all, saw one very awesome! (8 minutes ago)
