Not gonna watch the vids, but i'm looking forward to playing this. First game of 2013. Good start to the year.

If only someone would lend me his PS3 for a few days, i'd buy it instantly.

Videos make the game look amazing, Just wish it didnt have that daft Pokemon fighting style in it :( Think im going to pick it up anyway give it a chance and hope the fights dont annoy me too much.

Haven't played anything on any console in a long time (unless you count Temple Run). Will give this a try as it /looks/ pretty sweet.

Defiantly going to buy this, The first Jrpg I will have played in years. Nice game to start off 2013

This is on my must to play list of PS3 titles which I will get to once I have some time....so many games on my backlog....I will never catch up

graphics are downright dissapointing, going how good they looked without HD videos.

Characters Cellshade is good, but the scenery or is eitheir blured or the textures are hit or (mostly) miss. Eternal Sonata has half a decade and doesn't look that worse, even say better in some stuff.

Nit picky remarks on here make me want to put a screwdriver through my eye sometimes

Very easily one of the best-looking console games I've seen. Absolutely gorgeous.

Fortunately, the gameplay is every bit as good as the graphics.

You'd go with a Crysis HD-Texture Mod and probably still complain about textures being blurry. :-P
Plus: Eternal Sonata has an absolutely childish & pukeworthy artstyle (+ no free roaming, fixed angles and such) while this is admittedly childlike (+ the free roaming) but is still enjoyable for grown ups, just like the Ghibli movies. Eternal Sonata may look better in cutscenes than this ingame, but that's about it...

wow..after all this time. Just when the PS3 is about to usher in the PS4 (or whatever they're gonna call their next console) we finally get a decent JRPG.

Truth, the guys transparent as fuck.
