Outcast - Second Contact was released yesterday and we have a few videos of this remake to show you. We'll start with the PC version, which suffers from pretty annoying stuttering issues on our rig (i7 6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 Go RAM, Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1080 Founder's Edition MSI), whatever the resolution or graphics settings we choose. The PS4 Pro version seems to be ok in that regard, but runs at 30 fps. As for the game itself, although the remake is actually pretty well done, gameplay hasn't aged well and it will mostly appeal to nostalgic players who can accept the old approach to open world and action games of the late ninteties.
It goes away, like. I suppose that's why ipd is important. (20 Hours ago)
@toelessfoot: Eyes? What about brains? I've heard stories of side effects like some people not feeling like their hands were their real hands in real life. Distance judgement problems etc (20 Hours ago)
@MrWhite: Hopefully only using vergence on current VR isn't messing up our eyes lol (1 Day ago)
