We were hoping we would receive our copy of Rage in time to write a full review but unfortunately it got here for the game's release and we could only play the beginning of the adventure (again). Although I had discovered the first hour of id Software's new title on PC last August, I must say I was really impressed when launching the console version. Graphics, framerate and animations are all particularly superb and at times, it almost feels like jumping onto the next generation of hardware (except when you start looking at textures from up close). I'll leave you with four gameplay videos so you can see it for yourself.
@alimokrane: Tomb Raide 2 is almost 20 huge levels. I'd say that is a proof of concept, and not a remake. The dude/team would need to get a lot of traction to start doing work that could be done. (1 Hour ago)
@GriftGFX: Aww shiiit, get it Bogard! (7 Hours ago)
Throwing the axe looks really fun too, you can hit different body parts and they react appropriately, like leg shots will trip them etc (10 Hours ago)
I was worried it was gonna be too much the dodge and attack formula but no it seems there are a lot of combos, positioning enemies for wide area and environmental attacks etc (10 Hours ago)
It looks gorgeous too, i hope we ll get some HQ videos from gamersyde on Monday (10 Hours ago)
God of war preview b roll footage was leaked. Its mostly combat footage. Combat looks way faster and more involved than i thought even when fighting just basic fodder enemies it looks awesome (10 Hours ago)
