You french guys really seem to be suckers for Club Dorothée animés... Watched those myself when i was a kid. But to be honest i think it looks mediocre at best, i'd probably go with Kenshiro instead. Thanks anyway !

#SplitTongue, me too i watched the anime back in Club Dorothée's time... I'm sure many french guys out there think like us: there was never a game as good as the anime...but that is nearly true for all anime :)
This type of game doesn't exit to impress everyone, it is here so nostalgic like me recall the past, and hardcore fan to be the hero of their series...
Now to say french are suckers because of a game, i pity you and i just want to know if gamersyde is going to create a new "drop a piece for the poor guy system" :D
PS: the Albator Movie ? We'll see if it good in 2013, there is also Captain Future / Capitaine Flam that seems good ...

It looks a bit terrible compared to Fist of the north Star Dinasty Warriors game. Even worse to the great looking one Piece Dinasty Warriors game.

Why do these licences have all have to be a Dinasty Warriors rip-off type of game? Isn't there a clever way to do a anime action game and for it not to be a unispired battle royale (dinasty warriors) or just focused on cutscenes and not much else (asura's wrath).

Looks pretty ass tbh. But these sort of games typically do. The only decent looking one is that one piece game coming out soonish i think. It actually LOOKS quite nice. And has an awesome style to it all. But still plays like dynasty...

April is not a quiet gaming month. Tribes: Ascend and Witcher 2 EE. Two stellar titles.

A bit unrelated to this topic but how is the new tribes? I loved the old ones but the only thing i have seen of the new one was this really stupid looking video where a player was glitch running/flying all over the map and capping flags with zero effort, it looked hella unbalanced.

I love Tribes Ascend, i played the previous ones very sparcely so I'm in no position to judge it against the old ones. The game is very far from unbalanced, it's the most balanced mp fps I have played in a long time.

Sure it can be easy to cap flags but that is only if the opposing teams defence are shit. There are alot of different ways to defend the flag and if a team defends their flag well e.g. keep all their turrets and senors up, but mines, claymores, mini turrets, electric walls (not sure what the are called), place a doombringer (that is a heavy class) at the flag then it is pretty damn hard to cap that flag.

Capping flags is just one part of the whole game, there are so many other different roles in this game like disrupting defences by attacking the generator etc. Holding up your own defence as a technician (engineer). Playing flag chaser, chasing the guy that has your flag. Playing sniper and killing if flag cappers.

You need to experience the game for yourself though, it's hard to explain. For me, I love it, it's so adapted to the pc-platform with it's fast paced gameplay that there is an extreme lack of in this day and age, good UI, very short loading times, the "VGS" chat system, the Unreal Engine 3 that looks so beautiful but at the same time manages to be so stable and the rewarding gameplay, it takes skill to kill in this game and every kill feels so much more rewarding than in your usual generic fps. Constant updates being released for the game.
