With a successful return back in 2013, the Shadow Warrior franchise had to be back for a sequel. Shadow Warrior 2 should be available in a few hours now, but we already have some 1440p footage to share. Although the game is pretty similar to the previous episode in terms of gameplay, Flying Wild Hog added a bunch of new mechanics to the original mix. Weapons can now be looted and upgraded (which gives them new abilities), pushing the RPG element a bit further. Some mission envrionments are also procedurally generated now, as shown in our second to last video. The game still remains a fast-paced FPS though, so don't worry if you're not a big fan of Borderlands or Diablo. Another new feature is the possibility to play the campaign with up to 3 friends.
Not to say they'll find success in their strategy this go around.. we'll see. I'm more confident in at least a meager success than most because I think they have more riding on this than WiiU. (1 Hour ago)
That's because you don't understand Nintendo. They've never built a platform around their competition. They've literally always avoided it. Since forever. (2 Hours ago)
@GriftGFX: probabaly comes from the time when they were actually competative and wanted to succeed? It's been so long i can't pinpoint when exactly that was. (2 Hours ago)
Nintendo has been weird since they packed a robot in with the NES. (2 Hours ago)
I think "same old Nintendo" is a great point. I don't know where the expectation for "normal Nintendo" comes from. (2 Hours ago)
