Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness was sent to us on June 27 and the French Post delivered the game in our mailbox yesterday, proving that sheepriding might not be the best way to ship something very quickly in the Parisian area. After playing the game for an hour, we can finally propose a bunch of gameplay videos of the PS4 version, the only one to be released outside of Japan. As you'll see, though technically limited, the game features some nice environments, but also some pretty horrible ones, reminding of the PS2 era. This new game by Tri-Ace seems pretty average from the looks of it, but it has its charms nonetheless if you miss the old schoold feel of Japanese role playing games. Juts don't expect the adventure to last very long as we have heard it ends after around 20 hours.
@Moonwalker: Do you not own a gaming PC? (6 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: reports from both official (MS) and unofficial (Shinobi602) sources say it's shaping up very nicely. (14 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: I'm sure we'll find out how the game has turned out during E3. Guess I was mistaken. I thought the team behind Crackdown 1 did it. (16 minutes ago)
So yeah I could have chosen to buy a PS4 this year, but I still have enough games to finish on my X1. So I'll get one next year. No rush. (17 minutes ago)
Hiring experience does not make an established developer. (18 minutes ago)
not too bad. On top of that come the third party games. Plenty reason for me to get one. (18 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: Cloudgine is a start-up with zero published games, and they're farming out work to Sumo Digital as well. Start ups and farmed out development. That's Microsoft Game Studios. (19 minutes ago)
