The Alpha version of The Tomorrow Children is now available to those who managed to get a code, so we didn't waste any time and got you two gameplay videos. Since we were discovering the game and had pretty much no idea what was going on, the main purpose of these videos is to show you how the game looks. If you've had the chance to try the game yourself, please leave us a comment and share your thoughts about it. Let us remind you that the Alpha will last two weeks until November 24.

It truly breaks my heart to that a games like this is only getting a select form of attention. Whiles a Gta x or Cod x takes the spotlight .
That why iam really glad you guys took the time to share this pearl.

PS: It looks like a cross between little big planet and minecraft, how would you describe it after playing it driftwood ?

Oh my..... I want that NOW!!! I wish I had a code for alpha. The whole atmosphere got me hooked instantly!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't run at 60 fps. But once again, the reason we encode at 60 is:

Because if a 30 FPS game with a bad frame pacing is captured/encoded at 30 but the output of the console is 60, some frames can be missing, resulting in frame drops that are not real.

We could use some script that detects bad frame pacing and resolve it, but we don't want, because bad frame pacing results in weird stutter, so we show games as they are and do not change them.
Need For Speed Rivals suffered from bad frame pacing at first, it was patched then.

With a capture and video encoding that matches the console's output, there's no problem at all and we show the games as they are.

Some parts seems pretty fluid to me, unlocked frame-rate maybe ?

Looks like 30fps to me with a pretty decent motion blur smoothing it out.

I don't know how a relatively small game like this can have better lighting module than Infamous SS, Ryse, Killzone SF and Assassin's Creed Unity. Seriously, the surfaces looks light years ahead of anything I've seen, PC or console.

I absolutely love the art style. Just fantastic. Here's hoping that the gameplay is just as interesting as its style.

To me, this game is just like a CG cartoon
I like the artstyle of the environment

But tbh, this game is indeed weird, what are you supposed to do? Collect things?
Is there any boss fight? I saw the giant spider and godzilla

I think its too early to say its just Minecraft. At least it appears theres some kind of weird story going on here
