Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was released almost 2 months ago now but we absolutely wanted to give the game some coverage so you guys know it's definitely worth it. The first game may have had a few issues but it was still a very good heir to the Left4Dead series and the developers had done an excellent job at updating their title to improve it after it became available. More than ever, this sequel is the place to be if you've been longing for some crazy co-op action, as proven by the following videos recorded during a 2-player session.
On the plus side
+ Better visuals
+ Great atmosphere
+ Bigger environments
+ Just as brutal and epic as before, if not more
+ Butchery Simulator
+ Finally some great feedback in melee combat
+ The progression/loot system makes you want to keep playing
+ Demanding and challenging
+ Fun, fun, fun
On the downside
- A sprint option would have been nice...
- ... as well as some traversal abilities
- Really tough when playing solo
- No new characters?
Bloodborne is the single player game of the generation for me. I haven't finished DS3 though but it has a high task ahead of it if it want to beat Bloodborne. (4 Hours ago)
@nostradamus: I finished Bloodborne over a 2 year period of playing on and off. Love it to bits but it can be exhausting imo. Finished up the dlc and final bosses last weekend. (4 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: yhea, when i saw the zen monks play area, its the normal route, but you can beat off path a whole lot. (8 Hours ago)
@asdfg: the hell, i spoiled all of it, ALL of it, but i'm still on Bloodborne last legs. I play this shitty games slowly, speedrun is for dickless pussies. (8 Hours ago)
