When we were proposed to try Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, we must confess we were a bit wary. Put yourself in our shoes, we knew nothing about the game and let's face it, we judge it on its title. Fortunately, we decided to give it a shot and we haven't been disappointed at all. If you miss the old days of Flashback, Another World, or even Abe, then pay attention. The most striking things about this game are its artstyle, its cutscenes and the fantastic music of indie band New World Revolution. As for the rest, you'll get your share of gunplay, puzzles and rocketbird action of course. Our only grudge with the game is that it's so great that it's too short. But for €7.99 (we're not quite sure how uch it will cost in North America), you'd be a fool not to try.
as a consumer i lose nothing if it's a shit game. reviewer do since they now have to publish a late review which probably doesn't get them as many clicks. but meh...reviewers...who cares. (3 minutes ago)
can't say i care much about bethesdas new policy. but then i don't put much stock in what other people have to say about games. buy a game. make your own mind up. sell it on ebay if it's shit. (5 minutes ago)
