I wonder, if I get the game and start playing on Xbox One, and then I get the Xbox One X -- will my save transfer over? I really have no intention to play this on PC, and not in 4K.

The XB1X is not a new console. so it should load your XB1 saves and everything just fine.

Exactly, the demo was solid I loved it. So many killer cars games coming out this year.

What was the AI difficulty setting?
Default one for the Porsche and Nissan (medium I think), then the one above with the truck.
So AI was quite easy and slow but that was not the point of the videos :)

Nice, I like that the AI is avoiding collusion unlike in some other games :P :)

Yep, and when you try to overtake it does not act like if you were not there, it stays on another racing line until you pass it.
But it can also try to block you if you enable aggressive racing (disabled by default).

But this is how it should be, hopefully with the full release you will make an AI showcase video.

Whats the FFB like? Been reading it's really poor like the Xbox version?

Global feedback is good, I could feel when the tires lose grip and gain it, by default the wheel is a bit heavy (at least with the TX), but the bumps on road were not really felt.

I think the demo does not have the final FFB profile for each wheel, it seems to be an older build than the final game. And they said it will be updated.

On Thursday i had the chance to play on the Xbox One X at EGX, there was two different choices play with a game pad or play with a wheel, i chose to use the Radical, being's the Radical is not in the Xbox/PC demo and having already played the PC version at 4k i wanted to get a first hand impression of the difference between PC and 1X, rather than a huge paragraph i'll just cut to the chase, the X1 is pretty much identical to the PC and you would have to know where to look to spot the difference even though it's very minor but for FFB ive never had a sensation like it in all my years of gaming it's certainly very good.

The demo crashed a lot of times. I had to restart the PC after each race. Most people on the official Forza forum and Windows Store experienced the same.

Worked fine for me.

You don't need a massive pc either. rx 470 gets 60fps maxed @ 4k. done it on my system.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And plenty of those examples are online PVP games too. Quake Champions probably isn't one of them :D (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @MrWhite: No, not really. There are loads of examples of games with microtransactions that don't influence the game design or pollute the basic user experience. (2 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Could you imagine back when arena shooters like Q3A were very popular, and the cunts introduced pay to win bollocks like EA, 2k, Activision et al are doing? Imagine what that would have done. (4 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite meanwhile on the other end, some kid who just bought the game is playing as Wigan, but they're playing like Real Madrid and giving your superstars a tanking. Time to dip into your pocket to buy packs (4 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Online play is so heavily scripted, your team inexplicably feels like a bunch of fat pub players in a sunday league side, and you're supposed to be in control of world class athletes (4 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite I mean, if you look at Fifa online, I've been saying for years that thing is a fix and my mates looked at me like I was mental. (4 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @GriftGFX: But you know it will in some shape or form. It hurts the game by default just by being there in the same way microtransactions and all that other shite does. (4 Hours ago)
