Page 1 2 >>This game was a masterpiece back in the day, but by today's standards it will feel pretty lame i'm guessing.
I look forward to this as it will give me a chance to finally play the co-op/counter co-op modes without the game chugging to high hell.
Fingers crossed for some online functionality.
Yeh that was a shame with 3 parties and all that red tape, I still blame ninty really as if they wanted to keep control of goldeneye they shouldn't have sold them since they held the code.

As for PD, f*ck aye, I'll be buying this just for the chance to go online and use that rocket launcher with the camera on it. Still a great game. Even to this day. Shame about the sequel on 360, though. I'd rather pay 800 points for this, than spend money on that tripe.
So slightly more clear?.
having not played the original PD i will download the trial and if i like it then will buy it
AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME!! Not just brighter, but better models AND textures omg!!!! *drools*... I love this game so much, I"d pay 100 bucks for the XBLA version of it, if they do this right!! Boy, this could pretty much be the BEST FPS multiplayer experience on Xbox, all time! Can't wait!!
This'll be the snazziest way to play a 100% faithful version of Perfect Dark, nothing more and more importantly nothing less.
But now reading what I said, yeah, lol, it does sound like it was sarcastic, rofl... But come on, compare those pics, they really did improve the models and the textures; and this game's split-screen multiplayer with bots is an absolute blast, up to this day...
Had too many hours of fun with my family playing this in the good old N64 days, hopefully I'll have lots more when this come out to XBLA! :)
Looks like a pretty straight (lazy) port to me. After stuff like Shadow Complex, this doesn't look very interesting.
That doesn't actually look much different at all....

Well considering Banjo was just a straight port with no touching up
You're joking, right?
Oh Banjo was touched up alright, but tastefully so.
Go check out an N64 emulator and you'll see what I mean.
No they weren't. When upscaled N64 Banjo looks nowhere near that good. Sprites for lettering, health bars, all of the hud essentially, aswell as pics of all the characters when they talked were redone, and textures were at the very least resampled to make it look way less smeary.

Here's how it could have looked instead.

Also, the pic of Banjo and Kazooie in your second screenshot looks awful compared to the image in the XBLA version. Are you telling me that wasn't redone to look sharper, along with the hud system?
Resampled textures were pretty much what I was assuming though yeah.
I wish MSFT would cut their loses with Rare and close them down.
Oh and that i keep hoping for a sequal to GbtG
