Project Gotham Racing 3 is once again in the spotlight with this video of Shinjuku by night. Sorry about my driving, it was my first time with this car, and it shows... Let's just say I was trying to show the damages or something :)
Guys this has nothin to do with PGR3, but last night I was at an EA games event, Free drinks + free food, and they were showin allot of games,
the 360 was also being shown behind closed doors. A friend of mine is doing an internship at ea at the moment so i got in that 360 section.
I was able 2 play/see 3 games: Tiger Woods , Fifa 2006 and Need for speed most wanted. Fifa and tiger woods we're looking awsome and Fifa played really good, (it still doesn't live up to pro evo in my book, but it's getting better) Fifa looked superb , the players we're lifelike and for the first time they had gras in a soccer game :D it was awesome.
Need for speed on the other hand: It looked like shit, and it also played like shit (both the 360 and the original xbox version) i wouldn't suggest getting that cause they kinda fucked up with this version, the whole sense of speed is gone (it feels like your driving a lawnmower) and the controls are horrible (with controls i mean how the cars react and their physics)
Tigerwoods i didn't get to play, but it looked great.
Now what i found superb was the 360 controller, it's a mix between the S-version and the Big version xbox controller and it's superb to hold and play with, i've always played my xbox using the big controller because i absolutly hated the s-version. Although the 360 version is smaller, i really like the grip and how it felt during my play time, it really melts on to your hands and it feels superb!
well i have nothing against europe, heck i love it there, but im just glad i get it first! =)
maybe it might give us an unfair advantage when you guys come online! MUHAHAHAHAHAHA!
The more I see of this game the more it pains me to push it to one side. It's certainly losing a lot of ground with the journos who have played the game and *willing* to give honest views on it; with GamingSteves podcast delivering bitter blows to the game.
Maybe its time for some of you to open up your eyes and get away from the spin that has been increasing over the weeks.
Holy s**t!! Look at the total Kudos at the end of the race! I think that your driving should be the least of your worries, Blim. I'm not saying you should be scared or anything, but you might wanna start carrying a few crosses around for the time being =)
Hmmm....I'm kinda worried about the reflections. Look closely when he's in 3rd person....the lights and such reflected in the car look static and they don't accurately reflect the lights he is passing. Even when he goes under an overpass, it does not really show up on the car. Anyone else notice this? Am I seeing things wrong?

GamingSteve is full of crap, most of his gripes with games stem from unrealistic expectations and plain misinformation.

So you are saying the journalists who have praised the game *and* gamers lucky enough to get to play it are NOT willing to give an honest view?!
And how, may I ask, do you know that:
Positive feedback = liars
Negative feedback = truth tellers
The general consensus from the *reputable* game sites is the gameplay is very much like PGR2 with better percision and next gen graphics.

the game looks nice an all but i just dont get a sense of speed, 120+ mph looks like your doing about 50 mph, why?
i dunno but thats the main prob i have. ive been 120 in a car before and it felt reallllly fast. this game looks like ur going 30. pluss, how can u take a hair turn going 90? kinda confusing but it feels faster in first person at least. still getting it for sure
