PGR3: Split screen mode video

I still have a few Xbox 360 showroom videos before starting with another games show (and an awesome Condemned video !). So tonight here is this video of PGR3's split screen mode. Don't forget that this is still from the X05 build, and it could be much better in the final release (not that it's awful that way).

Im impressed with the draw distance in spilt screen. Prefer sys link for offline multiplayer but for those without then splitscreen is looking great!!

Did any one else notice the bottom cars speedometer go over 200 MPH constantly, and even up to almost 290? This has to be a bug or something, because he was obviously not going that fast and there are no street cars that can attain that speed.

The top car's speedometer was reading in km/h, so maybe the bottom one's was just mislabeld.

Just checked, 280 MPH is about 174 km/h, which is well within reason. I'm sure it's just a bug that had his speedometer mislabeled.

I'm unimpressed: all the cardetail is gone. Besides, PGR3 does have four player splitscreen support like it used too right?

Because it's split screen, and maybe because it's a beta.

LCD screen. Plasmas are usually much more difficult to film up close, as you'll see in the Condemned video tomorrow :/

still undecided which way to go (plasma or LCD) but these sammy-LCDs seem to deliver really nice pictures.

You must be kidding.

It is Drawing TWO of everything, if they are 500 people in the stands in the top view and 500 in the bottom then it must draw 1,000 people, if it draws one Brooklyn bridge it must draw two, or one New York City it MUST BE ABLE to DRAW TWO!
If you don't understand the RAW HORSEPOWER to draw TWO of a VERY detailed city....then I feel sorry for you.

It must be able to double the, already *huge* building textures, trees, detail, ect... Just think about it.

THIS IS VERY, VERY IMPRESSIVE.

dont even bother with plasma you get terrible burn in, choose from LCD DLP or CRT.

Yay for CRT! waiting for another pricedrop before i get mine.

Considering how much the visuals of a game usually suffer in split screen this is awesome. I mean the environments look unaltered!

I don't think PGR3 supports 4 player split anymore, it's 2 player only, 8 online or linked. Can we take split screen online?

i thought burn-in isn't much of an issue anymore. then it's still a question of DLP versus LCD-flatpanel but personally i think that LCD-flats deliver slightly better pictures than RPTVs.

@programmer: for now, you may call it impressive. Within a year or two this is the standard. Of course it may be impressive technically seen, but I don't like what I see to spend a freakin' 400 euro's on.
