PGR4: Live Action vs Game

PGR4: Live Action vs Game

It looks like some people over at Bizarre Creations have a lot of free time now that the game is finally done. And what better than creating a comparison video between the tv ad and the game to lose a few hours?

One month from today would be 20th October, not November.

That was really Amazing... can't wait for this game....

The one thing none of these videos ever show is the garage, I want to see how it looks when you got some cars at your house.... did they change anything, is it the same, did they remove it? why is their no videos of that, to me that was a sweet feature in PGR3 -walking around the garage.

Very expensive gaming months coming up indeed.. I wish they would spread the AAA gamereleases a bit more across the year and not push everything into the last 3 months of the year.. But what else is new, every publisher offcourse wants to aim at the holiday season and beginning of winter when most videogaming is done..

I've always wondered though, what will happen if you release a AAA game somewhere between April-July? Will it sell less because people play and buy less, or will it sell more because there's less competition of other AAA gamereleases?

The garage is still there. I can't remember what site I saw it, but there's a video of the new Geometry Wars game in PGR4 and they show you walking up to the arcade cabinet to start the game. I think the garage is empty in that video, though.

No, the red car is it's name.

(I do not know about cars. I just like the fast, shiny ones. Broom broom.)

AAA games will sell well any time of the year. People play and buy games less in the summer because the games that come out then are the ones that can't survive in the holiday's ei, they suck. Many analysts are saying that the market would be better if AAA were spread out throughout the year because of the customers won't have to make a choice during purchase time. Honestly, who wouldn't buy GTA or Halo3 if it came out in June?

LOL at the guy who wrote "that red car" and then later "broom broom"...
...classic...

This game is going to be the only thing prying me away from Halo 3 4 way co-op.

Between Halo 3, PGR4, and Orange Box, October is going to be really punishing my poor old 360.

What's up?
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer oh yea that, Dragon Age was preloading at the time (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Maybe.. it's different for pre-loaded stuff too. (2 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer @GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX 45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (2 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (3 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (3 Hours ago)
  • Doom_Bringer
Doom_Bringer D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (3 Hours ago)
