2K Sports and Venom Games are preparing an all-new boxing videogame intitled Don King Presents: Prizefighter and destined for the Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii and Xbox 360 consoles. Its developers, who worked on the two Rocky videogames, want to create a simulation like no other, which will be very authentic. The player will be able to take part in a full career powered by a documentary-like approach. Two oily boxers after the jump.

if this is anywhere near as fun to play as EA SPORTS Fight Night Round 3 on 360 then Im sold, because it these two screenshots look awsome! Please no button masher!

FN Round 3 was all about the new control scheme, which I loved, that changed up gameplay for me. I really thought FN Round3 was very good... and an EA title to boot. If this one uses a very similar control scheme, and isn't a button smasher... I'm in.

I was in dying need of EA to release it`s next installment of FN (FN-R4), but after they shut down the studio responsible for it (and the best thing to come out of EA imo lol), I was left feeling a little cold about the future of the Fight Night, so with the release of this I`m totally stoked!!!.

Anyone know if EA plan to release the next FN btw?.

Not really, Fight Night on the PS was the first game to bring it, which was a evolution of Knockout Kings.

I'll definitely be picking this one up, looks to have a awesome career mode too, just wonder if we will ever get a FN4.

I saw another set of shots of the game that were also 720p but they looked considerably worse than these, yet I see some of the same 'bad things'. The sweat looks especially poor.

Basically FNR3 looked better, and that was nearly a 360 launch game.

Looks nothing like Calzaghe, wouldn't have known if was him if it didn't say his name on the shorts......

Still, don't really care about the graphics as long as the gameplay is simulation and realistic unlike the crappy arcade Fight Night series. Fight Night was fun but seriously lacked substance, especially in career mode, I just hope prizefighter uses the same control system of punching with analogue stick :)

I honestly can't wait for this game. I love boxing. All I want is some sick gameplay and I'm totally sold.

I've been dying for another boxer since Fight Night Round 3. The fact that this bad boy has Calzaghe is just pure win.

I hope they will also implement The Knee, which was the cause of many hilarious moments in FNR3.

Wondering the same.. And I also don't get the company's policy at times.. Why would they close a studio like EA Chigaco that made innovative quality products like FNR3? Probably just a money issue again..

Probably because they needed some money for BioWare and Pandemic. Lets be honest, Mass Effect probably made more profit for EA than Chicago studio... Still FNR3 rocked.
