Project Offset Teaser 2

Project Offset Teaser 2

The Offset team, composed of only 3 people (!), just released this quite spectacular teaser of their game called for the moment Project Offset. Of course they are looking for funding and a publisher, and I really hope they will find some as they seem to be quite talented ! No specific system announced yet.

Holy crap..

It looks scripted even if it is running in real time, but if they can actually keep those visuals with that quality of dynamic movement, this is the most impressive looking game i have seen yet. I've never seen that quality of lighting in a game, in real time. To be quite honest, i don't know if i can believe that level of quality will be in the final product. I mean, even those bricks in the stair well were actually modeled as apposed to using bump mapping or normal maps. If this is what gameplay is really going to look like, then i will be shocked. Probably more shocked than when i saw Gears of War debut

You can't help but feel that Epic just got owned by 3 man team.. =)

Not entirely true, but this is damn impressive. I really hope they can get in touch with a publisher!

Preferably Microsoft.. :)

KORNdog @Melmoth: that is one impressive engine. Didn't it also run until dawn, and soon a massive open world game. (13 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts The only bad thing is that now I'm dying to play Crash Bandicoot. I didn't notice the sounds the first time, but from the second onwards they hit me so hard with nostalgia. Those are great games. (1 Hour ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts Just watched PSX 2016 for the 4th time, reactions from the Easy Allies and Kinda Funny guys. It was such an unbelievably amazing show that just gets better after each rewatching. Congrats to Sony! (1 Hour ago)

Melmoth @aphex187: [url] Q6 here. But the original article was taken down, so guess it doesn't count anymore :). Also puzzled why Kojima would let Sony own the IP after (1 Hour ago)
