Page 1 2 >>deathmatch/team deathmatch anyone???
can't freaking wait, the original fear for the pc was awesome. i still regularly play fear's online multiplayer.
deathmatch/team deathmatch anyone???
I never regularly played FEAR MP, but I was really happy when they made FEAR combat free. It probably made the game's multi more popular as a result too. I wonder if they plan on doing the same in the future for FEAR2.
Can't wait to know how the story will continue.
It's curious that they've decided to follow up the story from the viewpoint of a different character, considering what we've learned about FEAR's lead. It's also a little funny, since bullet-time was a plot device, and there's no reason (that we know of) for this character to have those same psychic reflexes.
The little girl isn't scary to me at all.
Looks ok, I just can't get scared from the FEAR franchise...

I hope they've learned to optimized the game more on consoles, there's no excuse anymore if this doesn't run at 60fps.
I agree with DDRMidian that jump kicking was a bit cheap in MP ;)
I always thought that FEAR's emphasis was more on action than it was horror. And it's not quite as cheap in the thrills department as Doom's generally cheeseball scare tactics (which I still enjoyed).
it's more suspense not being scared.
But man, I was so wrong! I just finished Condemned 2 tonight and damn, it's even better than the first one imo. It really delivers a gaming experience like nothing else out there. They have shown me that they are among the best developers around. It has convinced me that F.E.A.R 2 is atleast worth looking in to.
Seriously, if these guys put their heart to it...they can make truly amazing games. Very impressed by these guys.
I didn't like F.E.A.R at all and don't find it scary (or thrilling, or whatever you want to call it) one bit. It's the typical cheap scares and cliché moments that just don't cut it. After trying F.E.A.R at the time I kind of discarded these developers as rather mediocre.

FEAR > Condemned.
