Disney Interactive Studios have put together a demo for Pure, which just hit the Marketplace and will go online on PSN soon. What a demo! I've never thought four-wheeling could be so fun, but this is some good stuff. Great graphics, great sound, awesome gameplay. You'll see notifications on the screen, "B lost" etc - you do tricks, and then fill the meter in the right corner. The more it's filled, the more advance tricks you can do. We captured gameplay videos for those unable to download the demo, enjoy.
I set Dark Souls up to run on my Vive, got barfy af after like 10 minutes. Same with any game that doesn't use teleport movement. Tried trackpad move in one game, almost fell over from the confusion. (1 minute ago)
Which apparently has "no games" according to people who supposedly love JRPGs ;) (7 minutes ago)
@alimokrane: Attach rates matter too. See PS Vita. (7 minutes ago)
And not just for some but some experiences. VR stuff that's developer for VR is obviously the best VR stuff. (8 minutes ago)
@KORNdog: VR improves for some. Remember that not all people can handle VR. (21 minutes ago)
but at the end of the day it's still just a sold separately peripheral. and you can't force any dev to support a peripheral. (52 minutes ago)
kinect is different though. it sold for the same reason the wii did. not necessarily because it actually improved the core experiences associated with gaming. VR however, does. (53 minutes ago)
