Rainbow Six Vegas gameplay

Rainbow Six Vegas gameplay

Ubisoft released this new gameplay video of Rainbow Six Vegas, finally showing a new level. It's as good looking as ever, but I hope the framerate will be better in the final build.

Oh man!
This looks and sounds fantastic!
the gun-fire sounds really good (like in the shoot-out-scene of the new miami vice movie) ;)

...cross fingers for a good multiplayer part now... (but if they keep up the good work, this will become the number one title on the 360)

cu in vegas!

I like the added voice when you mark your target. I dont' think that was in the e3 version. Also blim was that some kinda upconversion for the 720p because the quality sucked. That couldn't of been true hd. But the vid was nice when is the release date again?

Framerate wasn't that but, much better than in E3 demo.

17th of November, the PS3 release date. At least, in Europe it is. I hope it doesn't get snowed under 'cuz of GoW. I like this game more tbh. Multiplayer will rock i guess. I hope there's some good clan support!

Have to say it does not look as impressive as I first thought, the textures seem very flat and blurry (perhaps due to encoding Blim?).

Framerate did seem okay though.

it looks really great!!!

the best feature was the "you shot him first, then him"-feature

but what about the framerate???

Looks good, I couldn't play it at that framerate, but they still have a bit of time.

Is it just me or does the difference between the Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six games seem to be getting less and less obvious with each release?

Team Rainbow are kind of a super SWAT team, dealing with terrorist situations in individual buildings/compounds. The Ghosts deal with full blown military conflict as an elite version of the already elite Delta Force/SEALS.

It's not just you. During the opening sequence in the heliocopter, I had an intense feeling of deja-vu. I imagine Ubisoft recycled a helluva lot of assets from GRAW.

lol its not recycling its called most military incertions are done via helicopter how else are you gonna get in... jump out of an f16?

although i must agree their are definitly a few flat textures mainly doors that i saw ... but other than that game looks awesome great tactical shooter :)

I'm still buying it, but I hope that the choppyness in the framerate is due to my crappy PC, and not the game.

Anyone seen it live?

@ KilgoreTrout_XL: This is a movie from the 360 version..

Anyways, most of the times, framerates get a nice fix in final builds.

Frame Rate depends on optimisation, which is usually in the end or later parts of the cycle. Look at Saints Row, I've been playing the game for a bit now and it's great.. so much better than the demo that was released. I personally never thought it was as sever as people were saying (saying things like the game was "unplayable") but it did stutter a bit when things wer going on, the retail version is as good as any game now.

Oh my god, I noticed something really small but it's quite annoying, when you put a surpressor on your gun, the hand rotates in the opposite way of how the surpressor turns around the barrel of the gun. this bugs the cr*p out of me :D You'll see it around 2.50 minutes of this movie.

-- My eyes are broke, it does turn the right way :P

Heh, thanks blim for going back to xvid and allowing us with not as high end pcs to still be able to view the 720p version =)

Oh yeah, I mean I realized that. I don't think you understand how crappy my PC is. It can't run more than half the movies on this site at normal speeds. Just wondering if the hiccups were ocurring for everyone.

Dude the framerate in Saints Row is HORRIBLE. The final game has hardly ANY noticeable framerate improvements over the demo.
