Page 1 2 >>EDIT: hang on, this looks like it could be played in 3rd person as well... hmmmm
How did the english version ever get lost, I'll never know. Fixed.
Looks more like Code Veronica Meet Resident Evil 2. Anyway, too bad it plays like a shooter.

they may have done what they did between resident evil survivor and resident evil dead aim, where they incorporated 3rd person movement, with first person combat. either way it already looks better then umbrella chronicles which i didnt like all that much tbh.
RE2 remake??!!!!!
This is a scrolling shotter, all you do is aim and shot....
i hope it doesnt have the fixed camera angles of the old. I tried playing the re1 remake on the gamecube yesterday, looks great, but the fixed camera made every movement a unprecise chore
Guys, just so you know this is not even REMOTLY like the old RE games, ( beside 2 other shottters ) in any event those who think this plays like RE2/Code Veronica... your very wrong.
This is a scrolling shotter, all you do is aim and shot....
and yet it's still more responsive and fun the RE5....go figure
It gets old hearing peoples complaints about RE5's control system.. its still a game in the "survival horror" genre - that have always been stop and shoot. Its like playing a JRPG and complaining that the combat is still turn based.
its still a game in the "survival horror" genre
Its the control scheme thats the only thing differing it from the countless gears of war clones that have flooded the market since RE4. If it got rid of that then what would seperate it from gears?
There's positives and negatives for the control scheme.. yes it feels dated, but then when ever a new resident evil game is out its always felt abit alien untill you get used to it again. Once you are used to it you start to see the positives of it.. such as the more frantic nature of gameplay when you cant run, shoot, and cover, whilst the enemys running at you.
And the only thing that will justify the puchase of the game for me is that i ENJOYED PLAYING IT.
The RE retrospective videos only fueled my thirst!

As for this game, just another stupid on rais shooter. What a shame they don´t remake RE2 and RE3 the way they really deserve.
