Rockstar keeps providing us with new images of Red Dead Redemption, which will certainly makes the wait all the more unbearable until April 2010. Know that this week we were invited to a second presentation of the game and that our article should be available on January 28. Stay tuned!

Rockstar said that PS3 guys will get something good this year? I hope it is not GTA DLC or something from this game ? lol. It may be a really cool game or it can also turn out to be boring after sometime ...

After the crappy GTA IV port to PC, i will not wait for Red Dead Redemption to come later for this platform. Day 1, 360 version. ^^

I kinda expect them to delay the game given what's going on with Rockstar. If you didn't know, the employees are complaining of difficult working conditions that cuts into their ability to finish the game. I sure hope they do finish it for an April release.

For some strange reason, I'm excited for this game. The environments look gorgeous, character models look detailed, and I want to see what the story is about this time around. Will be keeping an eye on this. Thanks for the pics.

looking forward to this, these screen dont wow me much tho, the last batch was more impressive imo. theres something about the generally low res textures, low poly models and sprite foliage that kinda looks a bit dated. in motion i'm sure it's gonna look great tho, now all they got to do is fix the main guys "shat himself" walk. gotta say tho, as with most R* games, i'm looking forward to the story and narrative more then anything.

you're quite right about that. GTA4 was indeed a very poorly done port. here's to hoping they do a good port anyways, if they do one...

the graphics suck, horrible textures.. blah blah etc... . (isn't that what people say about every game on this site?) on a real note, this game looks AWESOME! i can't wait to be blasting sheriffs like billy the kid!

No, it isn't. It's not just this site, it's every site and that's down to the generation of kiddies who's first consoles are these consoles.

As for this game, I'd heard and seen little to nothing of it until recently; saw the gameplay intro trailer to it yesterday, and now it's one of my most anticipated games this year, or even this gen. It could turn out to be everything GTA4 should have been and then some. After the lessons learned from that game, it's a good thing that the hype has been minimal and nowhere near that reaching GTA4's. It looks amazing to say the least.

I concur. Maybe close, but I have a feeling that a lot aren't interested.
Although many will get it because it's from Rockstar, and many will get it because it's a HQ Spaghetti-Western game.
I won't; I hate anything remotely like this. And I'm sure there will be plenty of others.

Well, given the context of the content of past R* games, why not put some black slaves in there to tie a rope onto and drag them about the desert, or lynch? There is no f*cking way R* would be that stupid to allow for such a controversial scenario to happen in the game, even if some of their past work has been borderline, this would surely be too much for the politicians and the game would get banned. To put native Americans in the game as NPC's to interact with and do what you want to them would be no different. Perhaps they will be in the game, but within cut scenes or something.

There's a difference. You can't run around in those games, tie an Indian up, and then toe him from the back of your horse, or string him up by the neck. It's the freedom that R*'s sandbox games give that make them so controversial, especially if you're basing something off of actual American history.

again, why should that make a single bit of difference. as long as your only enemy isnt indians, then there wouldnt be an issue with it since you can do those things to both white cowboys and the indian natives.

it would be like the way all the controvercy surrounding RE5 faded away once white enemies where added. and thats all R* would need to do, make it equal in the way you can kill each race. and preferably avoid any objectives based on hanging/dragging native indians. indian enemies wouldnt be an issue at all.
