are those shots from the Wii or PS3 version? 360 version surely will look better.
In before Kenshin! Hope they keep the same comedic style from the Star Wars games.
With the other Lego games, they took the content that worked on PS2/Wii and just added effects and resolution to the 'next gen' versions. I suspect it will look pretty close to these shots, not much better.
GOTM(millennium) confirmed
In before Kenshin!

Traveller's Tales have not revealed many details about the game other than it will star Batman fighting crime in Gotham City.
An early build has been created and shown at certain conferences (such as at Game On in London) by designer Jonathan Smith himself for the PS2 console, with a small playable area sporting the exact same HUD as LEGO Star Wars II. Characters on screen each have individual animations and both Batman and Robin have their original TV show dressing style. Only a Fall 2008 date has been announced. No additional information about the game was given, aside from the style of the game focusing more on the original TV series and comics rather than the new movies. The Joker and the Penguin will make a playable appearance.
The inspirations for the various versions of vehicles and characters vary widely. For example, the Batmobile retains its basic sleek shape and prominent fins from the Tim Burton films. The Batboat is more of a hovercraft, and the Batwing looks very similar to the version in Batman Forever, albeit without decorative lights. The "Bat-tank" seems to be based off The tank-like Batmobile in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.
you can be Robin :p
the character designs seem to be based off the original TV show, yes. However, it's going to be an overall mix I think.
