We finally managed to find the trailer of Resistance 3 that was released last weekend at the VGA. Composed of live sequences and gameplay extracts, it does a really good job at giving a hint as to what to expect in terms of atmosphere.
Cannot wait to see more of this. Glad it's gone back to the much more muted palette, worked a lot better for this game, gives it a much darker atmosphere :D
The gameplay parts actually look fun. The shot effects and Chimera deaths look rather satisfying, specially compared to the original that I played (Never tried R2).
Damn awesome if you ask me, more vast levels, tweaked engine a bit. It obviously looks better than Killzone 2 just the way Gears of War 2 did compared to Gears of War.

Killzone 3 is undoubtedly the best looking game I've seen but you have to admit that the self shadowing/animation/textures are freakishly good in resistance 3. MUCH improved over resistance 2.
