Why is it suicide to launch with PGR3? It's a good idea for consumers to have choices.
yeh, this is gonna appeal mainly to RR fans and people who buy like ten games and want 2 racing titles
RR is pretty popular there, and for mindshare having a RR title released with a console is typically a "Sony Playstation" thing. In many ways this is MS making a move for more exposure in Japan and to make a statement... plus the hoard of RR fans who will buy this.
I wanted Ridge Racer instead of PGR3. But thanks to the idiots at EA it's delayed until whenever.
I was looking forward to trying it out, even tho it's just the PSP version with more tracks and better graphics.
im getting PGR at launch and RR when ever it comes out, i hope they got some maps in there from the original game.
RR is pure arcade whereas most of the others are semi realistic.
They declared suicide by launching along Gotham. And then when we are done with PGR3, there will be TDU...........oh poor Ridge Racer.
Not a classic RR game in any sense of the word, so I’m in no rush.
If you're launching with the most popular Xbox racing franchise, then the choice people will make is an obvious one.
But RR on the PSP is has been simplified? The boost is rubbish and skill required minimal compared to earlier titles in the series. Looks ok but there is some atmosphere missing from these shots and including that night time Rave Racer course feels like Namco are lacking creatively.
Not a classic RR game in any sense of the word, so I’m in no rush.
I think the mainstream public will chose NFS: Most Wanted over this.
