Risen 2: Dark Waters is now available on PC, console owners being forced to wait a few more months, and we took a bit of our precious weekend time to capture a few gameplay videos for you guys. Once gain, Piranha Bytes' new game suffers from quite a few technical issues (pop-in mostly, but also framerate issues on my PC - i5 3.2 Ghz, RAM: 8 Go, Geforce GTX 570) but there is something definitely appealing in being a pirate. The videos were captured using Fraps at 60 fps thanks to Miguel's new comp (i7 5 Ghz, RAM 16 Go, two Geforce GTX 680) so big thanks to him. Update: Images added.
@MrWhite: if it wasn't for modders, we possibly wouldn't of spawned the best BF there was namely BF2 (31 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: sorry I meant what's come from those guys ie DayZ clones (ahem), milsims, BR, Life etc etc (32 minutes ago)
Still good for them.. I think Unreal contributes a lot as well, both to mods and indie dev (48 minutes ago)
@aphex187: mods contribute a lot of new ideas but Bohemia isn't the only company out there supporting mods (49 minutes ago)
@aphex187: Frostbite too complicated...apparently. They do what daddy EA tells them. Can't have stuff for FREE can we? (53 minutes ago)
Gotta tip your hat to Bohemia Interactive though. If it wasn't for those guys and allowing mods to their games, the pc market could of been slightly stale these days. Shame that DICE won't allow mods (1 Hour ago)
