Routine Alpha gameplay trailer

Routine Alpha gameplay trailer

Developped by independent studio Lunar Software, Routine got our attention as soon as it was officially announced almost a year ago. Early this week, a new gameplay video was released on Youtube so we contacted them to know if we could have the original file in order to propose the footage to you in the best possible quality. The team was kind enough to give us a quick answer so here it is finally. Hopefully, the game will turn out to be a great survival horror experience. From what we can see here, it sure looks very promising.

Cannot believe there is only a core team of three people at Lunar Software, this looks absolutely stunning!! Love the setting, atmosphere, gameplay style and sound! Looking forward to picking this one up :)

Amazing, amazing, amazing. My most anticipated horror game with Amnesia 2, Among the Sleep, Daylight, and DreadOut close behind.

Amazing... Graphics remind me a bit the Starbreeze style, and I love it!

Finally indie devs are stepping up to the plate instead of our the shite weve had the past 5 years.
Are you calling every indie game of the last 5yrs "shite"?

i'm hoping the potential success of games like this, and outlast and daylight etc show the big name publishers and developers that there IS still a strong market for horror titles.

Big name publishers are not very inspired with the genre... Unfortunatelly

Exactly. It's up to us to make the market stronger. Buy more small titles, choose for quality. We have shown we can change things in the gaming industry (Xbox 1). We can do the same for games. Yes, we can.

Ontopic: it looks good, but I need more footage and gameplay to make my mind up for this game.

Just looks insanely good!! Just shows what you can do with a small group of inspired devs.

Also, looks SOOO much better here than on youtube.

A 3 man team. Or more accurately a 2 man team and one woman. Looks fairly brilliant for such a small team. But Epic deserve a lot of the credit for their SDK. A few years ago, such a small team working on something like this would probably have been impossible, so it shows the importance of dev tools over more and more powerful hardware today.

Xoar.

Are you talking about games, or just PC games.

Because the PS3 has had tons of titles that are excellent.

Just like for the future.

PS4 AND PC.

It's all you need.

Water, oxygen and food is all you need. Don't believe those hippies who say all you need is love either.

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The 360 was great though.. but I even if Spencer is comparing XB1's performance to the 360's... that seems like yuge spin when you compare it to the PS4. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Some of those games are not Xbox exclusives. (5 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @MikeManiac61: Hold on, no memorable games? Halo 3, Reach and 4?,Gears 1-3? Forza Motorsport and Horizon? Lost odyssey? Condemned? Crackdown? Alan Wake? Come on now :) (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth the first game reminds me a lot of the souls series. doing dungeons/bosses in different orders, cryptic messages and hard to find areas. (5 Hours ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth Legend of Zelda done, now on to Link to the Past. (5 Hours ago)
  • MikeManiac61
    MikeManiac61 @GriftGFX: That's true. I can't remember any memorable IP's from the 360 days lol. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX The success of the 360 had *a lot* to do with it being the best multiplatform console. There may be a diminishing returns thing there though... we'll see. (7 Hours ago)
