May must be the most crowded month in years. It's incrdible how many games are planned for may. This looks pretty good.

I don't get why they make so many of these. I'm not an enthusiast, but Every one of these bike games look exactly the same. I'm amazed there is a market niche that continues to support these every year...

I wish they were released every two years. These way developers would release a much more polished product, with some more innovations. But then again I guess they consider this way too risky.

But this one is looking good though, and I haven't bought a bikes game for a long time now. Look better than the MotoGP game though.

Played the demo, and the game felt EXACTLY the same as it has for 5 years now. They talked about how much they are improving the physics and everything, but i couldn't tell the slightest bit of difference. I imagine you have to be a REALLY big fan of bike racing to drop $60 a year on this. It feels like an underdeveloped mode in a real racing game like GT5 or something.

BTW, the demo looks NOTHING like those beautiful screens, at least on PS3 so don't get your hopes up. The least they could do is add some physics to the riders if they are going for realism. Watching your rider fall off and spin in the exact same way every time without proper friction and body motion looks terrible.

About the game

What's up?
  • Tinks
Tinks I didn't understand why he played so poorly either though. Subasic has been amazing the rest of the tourney. A big reason they won against Denmark and Russia (18 Hours ago)
  • Tinks
Tinks @MrWhite: I agree. Penalty like that shouldn't happen in a WC final. Croatia's keeper was screened for almost all of those goals, aside from the deflection (18 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus @Melmoth: oh god, that is amazing. the sounds and visuals are insane for a sim. (19 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @droezelke: For both them? Mbapp was 20 odd yards out. His positioning was shite. Should never have let that one past him. (19 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke If FIFA didn't object so long to get a VAR, the concept could have been bug-fixed 10 years ago. (20 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @Tinks: The VAR is an exvellent tool, but the rules applied to the VAR are restricting them from intervening. Also, the hands-rule is so ill defined that it's completely open to interpretation. (20 Hours ago)

droezelke Then the shot came and as he tried to correct to the right, he was leaning on the wrong leg and went out of balance. (20 Hours ago)
