Bethesda and Splash Damage have released 5 new screenshots showing the unlockable abilities of BRINK such as Cortex Bomb and Self Resurrection. The game will be out on May 10 in North America and three days later in Europe.
If I get this game, I will go with medic or soldier class.
But I cant help to think these guys played alot of Killzone 2/3 when they came up with these stuff, its a great class system (well 2 was, 3 is a bit unbalanced).
Anyways, I might get this game, though I really hate the character designs being all weird looking and not normal.
I love the spec ops character design from the artworks, thats the style I am going for :)

Why's that? Did KZ2/3 have a bunch of upgradeable abilities, or are you talking about the classes specificially....because Team Fortress was rocking the same classes and more well before KZ.
You can upgrade the abilities in Killzone 3 and improve upon them, the classes arent the same as Killzone 2/3, I dont see marksman nor tactician, but I do see Infiltrator there.
For example the Infiltrator's disguise.
Level 1 you can disguise yourself, level 2 you can get by turrets and drones without them detecting you, level 3 its level 2 + you can melee kill without blowing your cover away.
I havent played TeamFortress (dont plan to) but I do know its similair to Killzone 2 which I am guessing thats where GG got their insperations from.
Atleast its not run and gun with 10 crazy killstreaks lol
Nontheless, I hope there is a Brink MP demo so I can see how well the classes and MP overal is like, or else I have to impulse purchase it and hope for the best (something I dont want to do).

Sath, the creators of Brink created Quake 3 Fortress, the class system is based on what you find from the old Team Fortress mods.. Not KZ..
Oh lol, alright fair enough.
I dont know their background but considering Killzone 2 and 3 is the only FPS I played with similair playstyle its natural to me to compare it to.

Yeah... KZ classes are ripped right out of TF2. But ya know.. the thing I played gets credit :D
I think this game looks typically awesome for Splash Damage, but I have some concerns. Quake Wars did a lot of really, really awesome things, but it was held back by poor network performance and lacking gunplay. I hope that the same thing isn't true here. Splash Damage has some of the best and most creative ideas when it comes to objective based multiplayer games.
