This game just screams third person shooter for me..
Too bad FPS view looks kind of cheapish, can't pinpoint whats causing it though..

I think it's because your seeing a lot more 'arm' then you usually see in an fps. Reminds me of couterstrike in that regard.

I like the premis for this game, but i cant see myself buying it. I'd say i'd give it a rent, but with the new sony pass thing, i probably wont be able to. Oh well, i think i'll live.

Simon Viklund and some other ex-GRIN emploees are behind this. He (S.V.) explained the concept of this on E3 and it seems kind of promising. It's 4 player co-op with some interesting tweaks. Though I don't like FPS much. I'll see at its price and if it's below 20$ I'll buy it immediately just for the music.

I would so like to see a proper heist game, in the same vain as the Hitman games; it could be played as a "shoot every thing" game or trying to pull it off in the cleanest manner.

Well they came to my school and gave us an assignment, which was basically to build a bunch of props. That's pretty much it. I was never at their office or anything, but more than half of my classmates went to Overkill to do their internship while i opted to go to the UK. So the game is basically made by students.

Props like 3D objects? That's cool it's made by students.

Yeah, exactly. 3d objects to fill out the environments with.

I actually really like this concept, it'll really encourage team-play and people to be adaptive with strategy etc, very Counter-Strike too in a sense (in a good way)

About the game

What's up?

Megido @GriftGFX: Id on't know. I didn't finish GTA5 but i felt like a LOT of the missions were complete throwaway garbage. The main story was mostly decent, but the rest? (5 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And right now there's a bit of a backlash against sandbox games in general. (19 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX There are plenty of examples of poor open world games, but there's also stuff like GTA5. I think it's a bit more nuanced than open world = bad is all. (21 minutes ago)
  • Megido
Megido @GriftGFX: I think you nailed it there though. "The best bits". Most open world sandbox games are filled with mediocrity and some good bits. (28 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Yes.. that "build a world" part is where they design it. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @GriftGFX: except not many are. they build a world, and stick quests in it. that's why open world RPG's quests are typically so shallow. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX There's no reason an open world can't be curated and designed. The best bits of every good sandbox are. (1 Hour ago)
