Strange game.
I wonder when beat 'em ups will look like the renders.

Btw, SC4 already looked liked the renders ;-)
Tekken 6 was awesome, this looks a lot better and has tag team matches. If you are in any way interested in fighters, this should excite you. If not then...well, just don't play it.
I don't think people realize just how the fighting community works. T6 was a pretty big change from 5, as will this undoubtedly be from 6 but you have to be rather invested in the game to notice it.
I mean if you like Fight Night better then play that, there's room enough for all different types of games. And no, this looks better than SCIV. SCIV looks great but this is a tad better. But what with Namco just officially opening the SCV page, who knows, maybe that'll look even better.
again, the "rehashes" as you call them, at least in the case of Tekken and VF (the games i play and can comment on), aren't really rehashes at all. You can't claim that Tekken 3, 4 and 5 play and feel like the same game. No way. Tekken 3 was cool for it's time though severely unbalanced, Tekken 4 was a pile of Shit and Tekken 5 is where it starts getting good. There are some major changes in T6 as well what with Bind moves and rage, not to mention the balancing. If you just throw the game in and mash against your friends then sure, i guess it might feel like the same old crap, but that's pretty much true for all fighters. You need to actually learn to play the games to see the big differences between the games.
Yes hopefully it will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive so that the game does not get dumbed down again.
....says the troll... though if you'd like to attempt to explain why a fighting game would need to be "dumbed down" to hit the 360, I'm down for a good chuckle.
T6 was more scrub friendly from the start though, has nothing to do with hardware as it's all design choices :P
Indeed, it's not like Guitar Hero or COD, where the older versions are more like expansion packs, than really a new game. Also, "rehashes" are released annually, unlike fighters. Fighting games take their time to perfect everything. Of course, not everyone likes the same formula. The only game you may consider rehash, lately, is Virtua Fighter 5 R, and even that one, is different than VF5.
Jaggies! Jaggies everywhere!
Hey, it's better than nothing.
