Hearing the announcement of this really made me reminisce about the good old days, shooting my friends with the turkey gun in the N64 game. I'm not a huge fan of today's South Park but will definitely give it a chance

wow another side scroller?? in a way I think its ok but holy crap they really should have tried to make a new first person shooter like N64 classic.

Side scroller? What? It's an RPG from Obsidian and overseen (and written) by the creators of the show. On paper it's already much better than the N64 game.

The direct involvement of Matt and Trey is very reassuring, even if the game system sucks it will still be south park :)

Pretty much what I was thinking...I don't think it will be much different, except maybe for the speed of animations.

Seeing as how they make South Park with Maya i'm guessing that they could just lift a lot of the stuff right out of the resource library for the show and just stick it in the game.

This is a serious concern, I think. It better animate like the show too, or it's going to look/feel very strange.

I'm pretty sure it's one of comedy centrals largest shows. And it should be, South Park is great. It's funny, smart and probably the best social satire/criticism on TV right now :)
