Secret Service announced

Secret Service announced

Activision yesterday announced Secret Service, to be released as a budget title on Xbox 360, Playstation 2 (yes PS2) and PC later this year. Daniel Arey, who spent a decade on Naughty Dog and Uncharted, Jak & Crash Bandicoot, will handle the story and level design. More info and images inside, which judging from the file name is from the Xbox 360 version of the game.

playstation 2 and not 3, HA! that's funny :)

Funny yet somehow not surprising. Dead Rising went to the family-friendly Wii but not PS3. Sony just can't catch a break this gen.

That first image makes me a bit dizzy!

Looks very mediocre visually... are you sure these are 360 screenshots and not PS2 ones?

Did you even read the description?!

It's a budget game, they're not going for graphics.

Also, I suggest you turn on your PS2 (if you even have one) and check the graphics, because they do not look as good as this game, as mediocre as it is.

Come on, such underwhelming visuals for a next-gen 360 game to be, should stay as far away from PS3 as possible. Heh, devs' underpowerment shouldn't be carried over to iconic systems.
ps3 iconic system? i think you mean "cult" system... as in, few own it.

And the difference between the ps2 and xbox was that the ps2 hit earlier, was cheaper, and was less techically advanced than the xbox...sound familiar?

I do agree though.. ps3 owners wouldn't even want this..they should start putting these kind of budget games through xbox live though. Rather than keep rehashing retro games that nostalgia has made us believe were way better than they actually are.

Looks well, cool idea.

Looking over this thread, Gamersyde is really beginning to go downhill. So much for the rules of checking fanboy attitudes at the door.

wow, whatever version those screens are from it looks pretty crappy to me.

For a budget game this doesn't look half bad (it's budget)
Given who is making it, it's sure to be fun as well

LOL just wow to this thread let me check who ignited the fanboy wars , ah yes that makes sense him again.

As Cooleo said, this is a budget game so its not going for AAA graphics, sounds intersting will wait to hear more.

when looking at these broke ass screens its obvious that the devs for this game are too damn lazy to work with the ps3.

i think the game looks pretty good, very clean and nice :)

How odd is that. 360 and PS2. That little black machine just won't die.
Commented on 2008-10-11 23:24:08
oh btw heard it was gonna be half price? nice one

also i think they are releasing it on the PS2 rather then the PS3 because PS2 has more users then the PS3(more chances of sales) so its only sensible for a budget game

if this game can run on a PS2 then i dont aspect anything unique about the gameplay or AI or whatever but for £20-25 might be worth playin.

May not look amazing, but it sure looks better than most PS3 games. :)

What part of "budget game" don't you guys get? I think it looks fun

probably will provide just as much fun as JFK Reloaded. which was pretty much no fun.
