Sensible Soccer images

Codemasters released a new bunch of images from their upcoming footy-game Sensible Soccer. People that were lucky enough to play it some weeks ago were having a blast with it, and I don't know why I had any doubts about this game from the first place. The game is now planned for a release in June.

Av it!
I loved the original, if this plays anything like? I may buy another xbox 1
game after all.

Cool, looks so much like Sensi should in 3D.

I'm on the fence about getting it for PC or XBox, I just think getting realistic rosters and keeping it up to date will be easier with the PC version but XBox Live is probably going to be a better way to play it online.

I remember the good old Sensible Soccer. THe worst looking soccer game of all time but addictive as hell.

There is no Xbox live support for online play in this game. It's the reason I'm not buying it.

They could have sold a million more copies with an online version!

Who's bright idea was that?
Far from sensible.

It looks real bad, like they have taken 720p graphics and forced it to behave like 480p..

I'm not liking the look of this game at all, give me Virtua Striker/Soccer anyday.

I know, I couldn't believe it when I heard. It was revealed over on the Codemasters forum by one of the moderators that has always been spot on with his information in the past.

They think that the sort of people that want to play Sensi will buy it anyway! Maybe if I was still 15 and living near all my mates I might buy it but having moved away I have to go online for my social gaming now.

Codemasters said that if it sells enough then there will be another version with live play and they are also hoping to do a management mode like in SWOS. The funny thing is, they have people moaning on their own forums that they want live play and/or management modes. Seems like there's plenty of people that won't buy it without these features and they won't do new versions unless people buy it.

Chicken and egg anyone?

I loved Sensi on the Amiga, still beats any FIFA game hands down, look forward to XBOX version but will try Demo first.

As for no Live support its a stupid move to think they will sell loads to warrent another version with Live and Manager support, these 2 options should of been included from the start as the main thing about the original was how great it was to play with friends, but this is the route Codemasters are taking they realse some dodgy MMOS and ignore there customers.

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (8 Hours ago)

KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (8 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (9 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (9 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (9 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (9 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (10 Hours ago)
