They had a pretty impressive engine, back in the day. Nobody was putting as many things on the screen as them and it still looked graphically really good (back in the day).

anyone know the co-op limit, the trailer seemed to show x3 or maybe x4 co-op?? I fecking love this game, but the dudes with bombs for hands still give me nightmares!

The PC version supports up to 16 players in co-op.

!? There would have to be 20x more enemies on screen for that to be worth it. Seems like it would be super easy with that many guys mowing down baddies. I could see 2, no more. Unless there is some kind of deathmatch with hundreds of enemies assaulting you at the same time. Ooh, that might be kinda fun!...

Enemies scale with the player count.. or at least they did in the original SS.

Serious Sam was always gimped on consoles, seems kind of strange this time... but I doubt we get 16 players or servers for that matter.

Yea.. whoever said that it's four on the Xbox seems to have it correct. I think SS was good fun on the original Xbox though. It's a fun splitscreen game.

I played the first few missions tonight... and yeah... it's stupid oldschool fun but if you can get behind that, it's a blast!
